So, here we are with the most highly anticipated movies.
1. The Grudge
I am sorry to get a scary start but the movie. Nicolas Pesce’s directorial movie is the American remake of the Japanese horror film. A ghost with a long memory is readying to take revenge again. The lead cast includes Andrea Riseborough, Betty Gilpin, John Cho, DemianBichir, and Lin Shaye. This hair-raising horror flick should be on the ‘must-watch’ list of the movies.
2. Bad Boys for Life
Oh man, who isn’t in for Will Smith?
Directed by Adil El Arbi and BilallFallah. Although the original director of the series, Michael Bay is not serving on the director’s seat for this one, hopes are high from the new team.
3. Eternals
The third movie on my list is Eternals. If you are into sci-fi then you should tick this one as well on your must-watch list. Directed by Chloe Zhao and having big wigs like Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Richard Madden, and Gemma Chan as star-cast, the movie is set to release next year.
Eternals movie is a saga of a race of immortal beings that have shaped the history of Earth and civilization by living on it for ages. Hmm, sounds interesting, and to know more we will have to wait until it hits the cinemas!
4. Godzilla vs. Kong
This movie would be a treat to watch as both the gigantic monsters will fight each other to become the King of Monsters. People\’s expectations are high,
5. The New Mutants
The director of The Fault in Our Stars has gathered fresh faces of Hollywood, such as Anya Taylor from Splits, Maisie Williams from Game of Thrones, and Charlie Heaton from Strangers Things to play the next-generation role.
The New Mutants are imprisoned in a secret place and there they discover their hidden abilities which scare them to the core. The movie has some horror and thriller plot twisted together and people can expect to have an adrenaline rush while watching the movie.
I am ticking this one on my list, and you should do the same.
6. Black Widow
Scarlett Johansson is a treat to the eyes. She looks so beautiful on-screen and off-screen too. You will see her on your screens in her movie Black Widow alongside Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Rachel Weisz. Jeremy Renner is said to be making a special appearance in Cate Shortland’s directorial film.
7. Tenet
The star cast of the film has some amazing actors such as John David Washington, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Robert Pattison, Kenneth Branagh, Michael Caine, and Himesh Patel.
8. Top Gun: Maverick
This time Joseph Kosinski, the director of the movie has gathered young and most-in-demand emerging stars of Hollywood. Tom Cruise will is playing the lead role of course, but young faces who are on board are Miles Teller and Thomasin McKenzie along with Val Kilmer. It is reported that Miles will be playing Goose’s son while Kilmer is hitting back as Iceman.
So, get ready as Tom Cruise will give you an adrenaline rush with some crazy actions and fights.
9. Death on the Nile
Kenneth Branagh is returning as detective Hercule Poirot in his latest Agatha Christie adaptation. He is having the charge of director seat and will be playing the lead role as well.
10. No Time to die
Another highly anticipated movie of the year 2022 is No Time To Die. Daniel Craig is returning to play 007 for the final time (nothing is confirmed though). Cary Fukunaga is the director of the movie. Rami Malek who has recently won the Best Actor award is rumored to be playing the villain. Well, if this turns out to be true then I am definitely heading to cinemas to watch it in April next year.
